Catch Fishing Services attached great importance to the protection of your personal data and we do everything to ensure your privacy. This privacy statement provides information about how we handle personal data of our business relations and visitors of our website or location and for what purposes we use it. Purposes of data processing

At Catch Fishing Services personal data are processed for the following purposes:

To be able to perform our services
When you request, purchase or supply products and/or services from or via Catch Fishing Services your personal data are required to complete your request and/or delivery and to settle the financial matters. This concerns company name, invoice and/or delivery address, name of contact person(s), (mobile) telephone number(s), e-mail address(es), and bank account number. It is possible that additional data will be processed, if this is necessary for the relevant service and depending on what you have additionally provided (gender for salutation in correspondence, passport details for any travel documents or for identification, evidence for applications for permits and documents for transport/import/export and/or training/certification for confirming authorizations and competences for on-site service work;

To have an order archive available
Job files are archived in order to be able to look up product data and/or certifications of past deliveries and possibly to reissue them at the request of the customer. These files may include (former) contact persons and contact details;

To fulfil legal obligations
It concerns personal data that are required to meet our tax liability;

To improve and innovate our services
Personal data are also used for the benefit of our quality management system in order to improve our
product portfolio and services. When you participate in, for example, our customer satisfaction survey
or report complaints, we use your data for internal analyzes for process improvement and the
development of products and services;

Information provision or to conduct marketing activities
When you have contacted us (whether or not initiated by yourself) and shared information with us, your personal data, your organization's data will be recorded and processed to meet your demand and to keep you informed of (new) products and services or other information useful to our relationship.

Disclosure to third parties

Catch Fishing Services does not sell the information you have shared with us to third parties, but we can provide it to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the purposes described above.

  • - Audit of our quality management system;
  • - Provision of customer mailings;
  • - Emergency services in case of calamities;

Catch Fishing Services does not provide any personal data to any other parties, which we do not have concluded a
processor agreement with, unless required and permitted by law. Obviously, the necessary agreements are set
with these parties (processors) to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data.
In countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the same protection is not always offered to your data as in countries within the EEA.

Automated decision making

Catch Fishing Services does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without interference of a Catch Fishing Services representative.

Retention period

Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy or as needed to comply with laws and regulations and to resolve disputes.

Security

Catch Fishing Services has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against
unlawful processing, such as:

  • - All persons who can access your data on behalf of Catch Fishing Services are bound to secrecy;
  • - We make backups to be able to restore data in the event of physical or technical incidents;
  • - Our employees have been informed about the importance of protecting personal data.

​Catch Fishing Services uses camera surveillance to protect the building and yard, as well as to protect employees, visitors and personal and company property and will NOT be used for other purposes without permission. Camera images are stored for a maximum period of 4 weeks and can only be viewed by the director. In the event of an incident, camera images can be provided to the police.

On our website we use functional and third-party cookies. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent with pages from our website and stored by your browser on the hard disk of your device. We use functional cookies that are necessary for the technical operation and optimization of our website and for your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember for example your preferred settings. It is important that your information is current and correct and we appreciate it if you keep us informed of changes during our business relationship.

On request the available personal data can be deleted or limited. Catch Fishing Services will comply with this request, unless there are justified grounds for the processing and/or when the law obliges us to keep the relevant personal data.
In cases where you have given permission to process data for, for example, marketing purposes, we will terminate the handling within the legal term on request.

If you would like us to send your details to a third party, you are welcome to submit a request.
